FEES
$189 per 55 minute session
PAYMENT
Payment is expected in full for professional services at the time they are provided. Debit, HSA, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards are accepted. My office policy is to have a current credit or debit card on file to pay for services at the time of our session.
INSURANCE
I am not 'in-network' with any insurance company.
If you wish to use your health insurance for reimbursement, then please call your insurer to see if your plan covers services provided by 'out of network' psychologists. With the exception of some HMOs, most insurance plans do allow this. Some may reimburse you a percentage of my fee whereas others may have a fixed amount they pay for a 55 minute therapy session. Clarify your annual deductible for 'out of network' services and then you can calculate your actual out-of-pocket costs for therapy.
I will provide you with an electronic receipt, called a Superbill, within a week of our appointment unless you specify a preference for a monthly receipt. The Superbill includes all of the information needed for you to submit a claim to your insurance company and obtain payment directly back to you. I provide an app to make claims submission easy for you. Most of my clients obtain some level of reimbursement out-of-network.
REIMBURSIFY
I provide all of my clients with access to Reimbursify, an application that makes filing insurance claims easy. (See the next page for a link!) You can download the app on your phone, enter the information from your Superbill, press submit, and then wait for your check! It gets even easier for claims thereafter because you can 'clone' most of the information and thereby create a claim in 1-2 minutes. You will be accessing a premium Reimbursify subscription that I offer as a convenience to my clients. The subscription does offer some assistance by phone if your claim submission goes awry in some manner.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Your therapy session is reserved and the time is set aside just for you; it cannot be offered to anyone else without advance notice. If you do not show up for a scheduled appointment or if you do not provide at least 24 hours cancellation notice, then you will be charged a $150 late cancellation fee. Your insurer will not reimburse you for 'no shows' or 'late cancellations' so these charges will be your responsibility.
