Dr. Schwab is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in health psychology, adult psychotherapy, and executive/physician consultation. She maintains a private practice in the Old Port area of Portland, Maine.
With over 25 years training and experience as a therapist, and as a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are treatment of professional burnout, depression and anxiety, coping with medical illness and chronic pain management, and resolving work/career issues.
In addition to being a therapist, Dr. Schwab has had many years of experience working for a Fortune 500 company at the officer level. Her intimate knowledge of corporate life and its demands coupled with her psychological expertise provide the experiential basis for her practice with executives. In concert with her corporate role, Dr. Schwab has personally coached over sixty physicians and brings unique understanding, insight, and discretion to her physician practice.
